Uncle birthday...

Hello,

Today is my uncle zam birthday... Happy Birthday Uncle Zam!. It was a long wait before Uncle Zam arrived.


So Sis decided to make use of the spare time to get ready for the event. She was busy since morning, putting on her best dresses until finally decides on this cute dress with a cuty hat.Cute right!

















Sis then practicing her rendition of Happy Birthday Song which sounded more like twinkle2 little star on the pee-yah=noh!
















At Around 4pm uncle zam came by, so sis tried to wake me up without the knowledge of mummy, she managed to enter to my cot with some undisclosed help. It was however caught on camera. oops!











Also. Uncle Zul, Sham, Aunty Azah, Mas, Siti, Yaya, Nani Jah, cuzins Shahin & Omar came to visit me.

Sis said the chocolatet ruffle cake was so delicious, but i am too young to have a taste.

Aunty Siti also gave my sis a present. She was so excited! At first she said it was a sleeping bag but after long while flipping the dictionary, it was later confirmed that she misread it should be spelling bag. Picture below shown Sis engrossed with her new toy. She asked me to send many thanks to aunty siti aminah.

My Beds..z.z.z.z

Hi,

It is a fact that sleeping is an important human activity, and likewise papa and mama take it so seriously for me, such that I have two beds instead of one..hooray!! They call it a sleeping cots. I normally sleep for 16-18 hours a day. Maybe 2hours of light sleep added on top of that. My sis just clocked about 12-14 hours of sleeps now. In the day I will sleep in this colourful red green yellow blue cot shown below. Sis relegated to the mattress below. oops sorry sis..heheh.

At night, papa and mama will bring me and sis to our bedroom and I slept in the blue teddy bear cot as shown below. Sis will sleep in her wooden cot on my left.

Mum will always swaddle me and i like it so much, it makes me sleep better too!!




What is swaddling? [Swaddling is a technique for keeping an infant warm and secure. Basically spread a blanket out flat, with one corner folded over. Lay your baby face-up on the blanket, with his head resting on the folded corner. Wrap the left corner over his body and tuck it beneath him. Bring the bottom corner up over his feet, and then wrap the right corner around him, leaving only his head and neck exposed.]

4th "johndisk" check visit.

I was anxious today coz it was my 4th jaundice check. (Oh yes, it should be spell jaundice not johndisc, mummy corrected me then. ) Well, we arrived at the clinic after 2.30pm, the clinic was not crowded at all, suprisingly. Soon it was my turn to take the routine blood samples. The nurse had to poke me twice, coz the first poke didn't bleed, but it was painful though, she keep squeezing my tiny feet. At the same time, I felt the sudden urge of need to drink, so I cried(but it's not becos of the pain tau! hehe *blushes*)

Today, a different doctor check me after that. It was a male doctor, infact he did not touch me at all, basically he just chat wif papa about my condition. It was relieve my biribilum level went down, so I do not have to do subsequent checks. Yahoo!. Also thanks to Granny & papa for tanning me for the past 6-7 days, I guess it helps!.

After spending less than 30 minutes in the clinic, papa brought me to POSBank. I was all excited as it was my first trip to the bank, and papa said that even big sis has not been into POSBank yet. My eyes were busy looking around, people queuing in the line, some sitting down, some standing up, and there is a man with a smart blue uniform, constantly looking at the people. But strangely and funny, alot of pple looking were looking at me when I came in, I feel out of place suddenly. Papa and mama intention was to open my first saving account that could be link to baby bonus but they was told by the staff to wait for the baby bonus letter instead. However, she managed to verified some of the necessary documents for the baby bonus requirements and also replaced my papa jagged looking saving book. Later we also dropped by NTUC to get sis Milk and my pampers!

It was an interesting afternoon afterall. Sadly sis did not follow, however as I am writing sis is now at "Pasar Geylang" with granddy & granny. Ok that all for now, also feel free to give your comment or questions, I will try to answer them. Also, in the upcoming entry, I will try to talk about my sleeping places in the house. Hot hot august !

hot... hot... papa it's a hot day.. why are you still tanning me??? hmmm (*showing papa my grumpy look) .. Doctor told papa to tan me every morning.. It has been a very warm august and that did'nt help that much... how I wish papa brought me for a nice swim instead..!

Well papa has to take me to see doctor again this friday... this will be my 4th visits to the polyclinic. How, I dreaded going to see doctor... but my sis is all excited, coz she got to play at the playground besides the clinic. It will be better if I can play too... can't wait to learn crawling, walking and singing from my sis!


Sorry for not updating the past 3 days. Well on Saturday and Sunday, many relatives popped in to see me... I am so glad and happy that alot of my aunts, uncles, grand aunt, grand-uncles takes turn to carry me. Even my 1.5yrs sis eagerly volunteered to carry me, but was stop by my dear mummy. Mummy said my sis has not passed the test to carry me, she still undergoing L licence, so she shall stick to carry only baby doll, bear, jojo or big barney. Of course she was frustrated and bored, she started to throw barney, jojo and baby doll to the floor. Now, i know why mummy didn't let her carry me.

On Monday, yesterday, was busy attending wedding. What wedding? Huh ? You not invited? Hahaha... Well papa and mummy e-attended siti n dtk k wedding over the internet. Watch the whole ceremony with some short naps in between. Kinda like the pantun-berpantun thingy... papa said it will help me improve my bahasa... really?

2nd visit to polyclinic

Hi, its me again Asma

You can also called me Asyifa , syifa or ifa too!... but Asma sound quite unique and prestigous... (Anyway my dad told me Asma in arabic actually mean prestigous or names, and it is the name of the elder daughter of caliph Abu Bakar (RA), who was known for her courage for protecting a secret).

Well enuf abt my name, let me tell you. Today is the second trip to the doctor for johndisc check. Dad n Mum smartened up and started jumping queues. They didnt even wait for the number to appear on the notice and straight bring me in to see the doctors. Left the policlinic within 40 min. But I still get poked again at my leg. The result was not so good, so monday got to visit doctor again... oh no!! My sis also accompanied me to give me moral support. Thanks Sis.

Wat a busy day!

Wat a busy day yesterday was... I was at the polyclinic for almost 2 hours even when I had the special privilege queue tag? why so longgg? I have to wait n wait n wait... mummy and papa were also a bit frustrated... nevertheless Let me continue the story. I went in from one room to another, and if i am not wrong I went thru 4 rooms altogether. First room to measure my weight and height(again!, I tot they did that yesterday at KKH hmmm!!!) and then went to see Madam Doctor, she said I have a bit "john disc" huh? What dat?? anyway my friend wani also had similar experience. Was asked to do a blood test, so papa take me to the lab where they poke my leg to collect blood samples (oouch!!.. but I didn't cry k!).. Next we waited n waited and waited and waited . While waiting, my stomach growl and i started to feel hungry...so I asked mum for milo but in the end got some friso instead.. and then we went back to lab to get the result.... aferwhich we were told to meet doctor again.. blah blah blah.. madam doctor ask me to see her again this saturday .. blah blah blah... then off we headed to the payment counter... before I finally left the place... at last!!... I miss my 11am sleep!!


Next, papa took me tour marine parade, went to NTUC to buy my "mamex" milk , he said It taste better coz my big sis like it so much...(Hey my sis so big u know!!) then we when to Esso to look for my sis stuff i tink it is call "dryfurr" or is it "cry-bird".... oh anyway the product was out of stock so didn't know exactly was dat... Remind me to ask my sis later.

Back home... guests have been anxiously waiting ...After entertaining them wif my baby noises, I fell asleep. The next I recalled was I did cry as loud for milk ,and the back to sleep again .. wake up, milk ... sleep .. wake up milk ... x 15-20 times... till this morning.

Early Morning, papa bring me out for a sun tan... sis also was there to sing me her #1 favourite song " twinkle2 little star"













Oh by the way, the picture above is my sis guarding over me while I do some tanning. Sis is a black belt in swaying the mosquitos and flies incase they hurt me.. thanks sis!!

First Day at Home

Hi, Firstly let me intorduce myself... My name is Asma Nur Asyifa and I am born in KKH on the 15 August 2006. So that makes me 3 days old today. I weight 3.56Kilograms and Height is 51centimetres. Same height as my elder sister when she was born, that's what my dad told me.

Last night was great, I slept thru most of the night only waking up once or twice. hmmm maybe mummy can atest to that. Now I am getting ready to go jalan2 to polyclinic..
